That early intervention is becoming increasingly important as a growing number of states require MTSS implementation and ESSA places greater emphasis on student support. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The framework runs on a three-tier model, and <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Tier 2 is where the real decisions happen<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. This is where intervention groups form, data starts to drive next steps, and schools determine whether a student is ready to step back to Tier 1 or needs to move up to Tier 3.
